Rollup
Definition: A rollup is a Layer 2 design that executes or batches transactions outside Ethereum's base execution layer and posts data or proofs back to Ethereum for settlement or verification.
Rollups aim to increase throughput and reduce per-user costs while retaining a defined security relationship with Ethereum.
How this concept appears in Terenval Wallet
Terenval supports several Ethereum L2 networks built around rollup technology, including Arbitrum One, Optimism, Base, ZKsync Era, Linea and Scroll.
Important: A lower L2 fee does not mean assets automatically exist on Ethereum mainnet; balances are network-specific.
