Cross-chain messaging
Definition: Cross-chain messaging is the transmission of verified instructions or state information from one blockchain network to another through a bridge or interoperability protocol.
Messaging systems can be used for token transfers, governance actions or application coordination without necessarily representing the same security model on every route.
How this concept appears in Terenval Wallet
Terenval can hold accounts on supported chains, while any cross-chain message is governed by the external interoperability protocol that carries it.
Important: Verify the protocol and destination chain because a valid message on one route does not make every bridge path equally secure.
