Bridged token
Definition: A bridged token is a token representation created or delivered on a destination chain through a bridge mechanism that corresponds to an asset originating on another network.
Depending on the bridge, the representation can rely on locked collateral, mint-and-burn accounting, liquidity or external verification.
How this concept appears in Terenval Wallet
On supported Terenval networks, a bridged token should be treated as a network-specific contract asset rather than assumed to be identical to the native asset on its origin chain.
Important: Verify both bridge provenance and token contract because fake tokens can imitate legitimate bridged-asset symbols.
