Wrong-network transfer
Definition: A wrong-network transfer occurs when crypto is sent using a blockchain network different from the one the recipient, service or intended wallet flow expects.
EVM addresses can look identical across chains, which makes network selection especially important even when the destination string is valid.
How this concept appears in Terenval Wallet
Terenval includes wrong-network protection as an additional safeguard for multi-network use, but users must still verify the network before signing.
Important: Recovery after a wrong-network transfer depends on who controls the destination address and whether the receiving system supports that chain; it is not guaranteed.
