Child Pays for Parent
Definition: Child Pays for Parent, or CPFP, is a Bitcoin fee-bumping technique where a new child transaction spends an output from a low-fee unconfirmed parent and pays enough fee to make the package attractive to miners.
The method depends on having a spendable output from the parent and on miner or mempool package policy.
How this concept appears in Terenval Wallet
Terenval users should not assume CPFP is available in the interface merely because the Bitcoin protocol can support the concept.
Important: Fee-bumping methods can be advanced; verify wallet support and transaction relationships before attempting them.
