Bitcoin mempool
Definition: The Bitcoin mempool is the local pool of valid but not yet confirmed transactions that a Bitcoin node knows about and may relay to other nodes.
There is no single globally identical mempool: nodes can have slightly different contents because of timing, policy settings and connectivity.
