Bitcoin fee rate
Definition: Bitcoin fee rate is the transaction fee expressed relative to transaction virtual size, commonly measured in satoshis per virtual byte (sat/vB).
A higher fee rate can improve a transaction's competitiveness for block space, but miners choose transactions according to their own policies and current mempool conditions.
How this concept appears in Terenval Wallet
When Terenval prepares a Bitcoin transaction, the network fee should be understood in the context of Bitcoin transaction size and prevailing fee conditions.
Important: Compare fee rate rather than only absolute fee when diagnosing why a Bitcoin transaction is waiting in the mempool.
