Change address
Definition: A change address is a wallet-controlled Bitcoin address used to receive the portion of selected UTXOs that is not sent to the external recipient or paid as a fee.
Because Bitcoin spends entire UTXOs, a wallet commonly creates a new change output rather than partially consuming an existing output.
How this concept appears in Terenval Wallet
Terenval can handle Bitcoin change internally when building a send transaction, so users normally do not need to calculate or enter a change address manually.
Important: Seeing a second output in a Bitcoin explorer does not necessarily mean funds were sent to an attacker; it may be wallet change.
