Staking
Definition: Staking is the act of committing crypto assets to a Proof-of-Stake system or related service to participate directly or indirectly in validation and potentially earn protocol rewards.
Native validator staking, liquid staking and custodial staking are different arrangements with different risks.
How this concept appears in Terenval Wallet
An ordinary ETH balance in Terenval should not be described as staked unless the user deliberately enters a separate staking or earning arrangement.
Important: Distinguish protocol staking from promotional yield products and understand who controls the assets.
