Checksum address
Definition: A checksum address is an Ethereum-style hexadecimal address whose letter capitalization encodes a checksum that can detect some typing errors.
EIP-55 defines a common mixed-case checksum format for Ethereum addresses.
How this concept appears in Terenval Wallet
Terenval users should still verify the destination and network even when an address passes checksum validation.
Important: Checksum validation can catch some typos but cannot prove that the address belongs to the intended recipient.
