Base fee
Definition: Base fee is the protocol-calculated minimum fee per unit of gas that an EIP-1559 Ethereum transaction must cover.
The base fee changes from block to block with demand and is burned rather than paid to the block proposer.
How this concept appears in Terenval Wallet
When Terenval shows Ethereum fees, part of the cost can reflect the network's base-fee mechanism rather than a wallet service charge.
Important: A rising base fee reflects network demand, not an independent Terenval price increase.
