# Screen-sharing scam

## Definition

A screen-sharing scam persuades a user to expose wallet information or let an attacker guide actions through remote-view or remote-control software.

## What it means in practice

Even if a seed phrase is not deliberately sent, it can be captured if displayed during recovery or backup flows.

## How this concept appears in Terenval Wallet

Terenval users should never reveal recovery material while screen sharing with support or another person.

**Important:** End remote sessions before opening sensitive wallet backup or recovery screens.
