Metal backup

Definition: A metal backup is a physical recovery backup engraved, stamped or otherwise recorded on durable metal to improve resistance to fire, water and long-term environmental damage.

Metal improves physical durability but does not protect against theft, incorrect word order or unauthorized viewing.
